30th post

Finally, it's the 30 post for this blog!
Gonna celebrate by posting a selfie of me hahaha.

Well, the recent weeks have been quite stressful.
I realized that being an art student is not as easy as I thought.
I'm so stoked for next year's lesson on my major,
I've been waiting for ages.

I just want to start designing logos and posters.

I'm really looking forward to the 3 years in this school.
I hope I'll graduated from this school being a superb graphic designer.
It's my passion to be a graphic designer and no matter what obstacles lay ahead,
I'll try my best to overcome them.
Till then.

Food is my lover

Yummy yummy yummy I've got food and/or love in my tummy

It was the best bowl of braised duck noodles I have had ever tasted in my entire life,
even up 'til now.. It is still the best.
I had this bowl of delicious noodles at Sunshine Plaza,
if you were wondering where.

I enjoy eating good food.
Good food is like sex in your mouth.

Also I pity people who can't smell.. Because I heard that to judge if  the food is good or not,
it depends on its smell,
looks,
and of course, with the help of the tongue.

Sundac

I went to Sundac, home for the Intellectual Disability with my class for
C.I.P work a year ago.
It saddens to me see all the people there,
whose whole life has been affected with disability.
I wish I could do so much more to helped them,
the least I could do was to help clean the place up.

After cleaning the place up, the volunteer workers were so grateful to us,
and seeing the smiles on everyone's face really brighten my day up.
I have so much respect for these volunteer workers,
Even I myself wouldn't have so much patience and care
to take care of the patients there.
I'm thankful for what I have in life, and I think that everyone should
give back to the society and do their part and help out other people
who are in need.

Taiwan

I went to Taiwan about 2 years back,
I have to say, the food there is way too good.
Everyone should go to Taiwan at least once in their lifetime,
the clothes are cheap, the girls are pretty and the scenery is not bad either.
The night markets are awesome,
ten times better than Singapore's '' Pasar malam "

I really enjoyed my stay at Taiwan,
I can say that the best hotel I've ever stayed in Taipei's Fullerton Hotel.
Gosh, how I miss Taiwan,
I wish I can go back there soon.

I'm a helpful friend

My good friend was going through a hard time one day.. And I decided to be a really kind soul to help her out with her project,
which she was not able to complete alone,
in the state she was in.

I spent a few hours helping her mould clays into sofas and bathtubs in the scale of 1:50.
It was not easy.
I was proud of her as she did an amazing job on her wallpapers of her mini six apartments model.
I wish I had a picture of the whole model she made so I could upload it.

Look good = Feel good

This is a tee shirt from my latest release of We Can't CraftLUCID collection.
After each and every collection released, I feel really good.
I screamed with joy when some people said they loved the products.. Well,
I did not really scream.
But I did in my head and it counts.

Besides loving the fact that I have my own label and designing clothes,
I obviously love dressing up.
I splurge all my money and savings on all the clothes and fashion accessories when I can.
I like looking good because.. When I look good,
I feel good.
I am sure many of you definitely agree with me.

Fujian, China

Last year I went to Fujian, China for an student exchange programme,
it was an awesome experience I have to say.
At the same time I realize that my mandarin was really really,
But well at least the people there could understand what I was saying.
Anyway, I think that the trip helped me in many ways,
making international friends, learning to communicate in mandarin better,
and also learning to be independent.
China have a lot of great sceneries too! The
temples were so breathtaking and amazing.

Rail Mall

This used to be my old house.
I spent most of my childhood here.
Gosh I miss living there so so much, right now I'm living in an HDB, and it's
way too small for me, there are so much things I can't do.

Over at my old house, I could play badminton,
soccer almost any thing. And the shop houses below my house sell-ed really
good food, and it was just a walk down to get food.
Right now I've to walk so far just to get food.

Sigh, how i missing staying there.

Japan

This was the first time I went to Japan.
I think this photo was taken at Tokyo, as you can see,
I was pretty fat then as you can,
I went to japan when I was around primary 5,
It was an absolute eye opening for me as the people there
were extremely polite and kind.
And the streets were extremely clean too,
there wasn't any dustbin to seen. Literally.
The tour guide told us that the people keep the rubbish they have
on them and throw them when they're home.
I guess we Singaporeans have a lot to learn from our Japanese friends.

Shoes

This used to be my favorite pair of shoes,
But no more.
It's a pair of Dr. Martens.
These shoes started to appear everywhere about a year ago,
right now, almost everyone has a pair of Dr. Martens.
It has literally became a household shoe.

I think this picture was taken when I was waiting for my friend,
who was doing facial.
His mom

Birthday

This is a picture taken a roughly one year back,
Me and my friends surprised my friend with a cake at pizzahut.
The picture says it all.
Well, we use to celebrate everyone's birthday in secondary school,
everyone in my clique would be there,
but after graduating from secondary school, everyone has different school timings,
and it's so hard for us to meet up and celebrate birthdays together,
there's always one or two person who couldn't make it.
Secondary school days were the best days of my life.

McSpicy

I think the last time I ate a burger besides McSpicy at McDonalds was about a year ago.
My love for McSpicy is as deeper than any oceans and higher than any mountains.
There's something about the burger that intrigues me so much,
But seriously, McSpicy is my favorite guilty pleasure.
I have it at least one time once a week or two.
I just can't live life without it,
life would be so harsh without it.
I'm glad McDonalds invented this burger.
Though, I know a handful people have diarrhea after eating it,
well, I'm definitely not one of them.

hoot hoot

This is an owl illustration drawn by me,
I have a thing for owls, I really love them.
Don't ask me why.
I love drawing graffiti styles/type art.
It's another thing I enjoy doing besides graphic art.
However I can't really work well with colors, so all my drawings are in black and white.
Hopefully I can make this drawing into an sticker and hopefully people
will buy it.

Ice skating

Well, I don't hate or love ice skating,
but the only '' fun '' I had was watching people fall down hahaha.
Oh by the way, I'm the back of the photo, on the right side.
I think that ice skating is the most boring thing ever,
it makes you tired, and give you blisters.
It's cold as hell in the arena, and I don't get why people want to
go ice skating.
My friends force me into this anyway.
Right now, I think I actually hate ice skating.
Partially because I don't know how to skate too,
but even if you're good at it, wouldn't you just get bored of skating on the
same arena every single day?! Gosh.

Picnic

I actually think that this is the first time I'm having a picnic.
Okay maybe not, I think I did had a picnic before when I was younger.
Me and my friends had a picnic at Botanic gardens
and it was quite fun.
Everyone was munching on food and talking about their tertiary school
experience. But one thing that bothered me was the construction site
right next to it, it was noisy as hell, and for the whole time
I just felt like I was sitting at a grass patch below a HDB block
instead of a garden.
Oh well.

Stickers

I have a thing for pasting stickers on my mac-book.
I feel that the every mac-book should have it's own stickers.
Some of the stickers that are on my mac-book are some of my favorite brands,
and some of them are of my own.
Like the " Eh Chio Bu "
It's one my own stickers and I'm giving it out for free,
so if any of you guys want it, feel free to approach me for some.
The " Craft " sticker is my own too.
It's from my clothing label.

Jamming

Me and my friends go to studios once in awhile to jam and
just sing our lungs out.
It's really fun to just play a song and sing it together as a group,
I don't think we are that talented,
but it so much fun to just play and sing a song even if it sounds bad.
It really does relief a lot of stress and it's kind of like a escape from reality.
Our " Band " consists of more than eight people,
I know that's a huge number of people in a band,
We have everything from a ukulele player to a violin player.
I guess one day we'll be the next One Direction.
( Just kidding )

Mom

The picture explains it all.
It's a photo of me when I was young taken with my mom.
It might sound cliche, but my mother is the best mother in the world,
she's my pillar of strength, my everything.
She worked so hard to provide me with everything,
because she had nothing during her child hood and she
didn't want that to happen to me.
I disappoint her a lot, and despite all the rebellious things I did in the past
she stills love me a lot, and I rarely have long conversations with her.
It kind of saddens me that the distance between me and mother is
that far apart.
Nonetheless, I love you mom.
Sorry for the disappointments.

Prom

This photo was taken with a good friend of mine during Prom Night just last year.
I guess prom night marks the start of a whole new life,
where you live you past behind and begin on a new phase of life
and meet new friends.

I sure had a good time in secondary school, doing stupid and senseless things
with my friends. I didn't regret anything I did during secondary school at all.
The friends that I made in secondary school are going to be there for life

When I was in secondary school, the only thing in my mind
was to leave this school as fast as possible,
but right now all that I'm thinking is to go back to secondary school and
re-live the good old days.

New Year

This photo was taken during New Year's Day
and boy, time flies. It's already October now.
Well, every year I'll celebrate New Year's Day with my friends,
It's kind of like a ritual we do every year,
to meet up and count down to a new year.

It's sad to see that everyone now is leading their on life,
I doubt that 5 years down the road, everyone would have time to gather during
New Year's Day and celebrate the day together.
How I wish I could go back to the old times.

Journey

This is where it all begun,
My journey towards being a Graphic Designer,
My cousin is a graphic designer and when he heard that
I was going to NAFA, he told me to go over to his office
and he'll teach me some basic skills in designing.
After about a month of being there,
I've picked up some set up basic skills,
which allowed me to set up my own clothing label and
I really owe a lot to my cousin for helping and guiding me.

Graphic Art

This is an original digital artwork by me,
it's also the best digital piece I've done by far.
It's basically different layers of paintings combined in to one.
I have to say that this piece of artwork got me to be interested in Graphic Art.

Before doing this, I wasn't really that interested in Graphic Art or Art in particular,
After doing this piece, I realize that I really enjoy doing Graphic Art,
and thus this led me into coming to NAFA to pursue a Graphic Communication Diploma.

New Kicks

This is a picture of an old pair of shoes I got at the start of the year,
I got to say this one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever bought,
and it's quite affordable at a price of $89.

The great thing about buying a pair of trainer shoes is that you can
wear this at almost any occasions, be it a date, going for a jog,
going cycling, going school, or going out.

Of course, you can't wear these shoes to a wedding dinner.
Well, I guess it's money well spend!

Dinner

Dinner at friend's house
Recently, I've been meeting my friends on every Friday of the week.
It's great to meet them and wind down from a hectic week at school.
Well, I can say the food was really good even though we are didn't knew how to cook,
I have to say buying your own ingredients to cook can save a lot of money because, if you have a meal outside it would be around $8, and with that money you can buy sufficient ingredient to cook a meal for two.
So, from today on wards, I'll try to cook my own meals!
