3 a.m.

This meal happened at a time I would usually be alone on a typical day,
in an unusual place,
with my dearest friends.

It was 3 a.m. in the morning,
on a rooftop of one of my friends' house.

There may not be plenty of stars to gaze in the skies of Singapore,
but there was food,
and there were my friends.. They were basically enough to make a night full of unforgettable moments.

At such a lonely time,
in a place I rarely visit,
it felt so familiar though,
because of the presence of our laughters and our undying chatters.

Downtime

Ever since the start of this school year,
I have learned to treasure the time I have with my friends more than before.
I have barely enough time for school work,
much less to hang out with my friends.

The picture was taken amidst Clarke Quay.
I love the view along the river,
especially in the night.. When colours of lights would come on,
and be reflected on the surface of the water.
The view was absolutely pretty.

I had an amazing evening chatting with my friends.
I was trying my hardest to keep school related stuff out of my mind.
And I did relax,
and I did unwind.

Appreciation

"EH CHIO BU!" I caught random passers-by exclaiming.
I feel a sense of satisfaction to the fact that people actually notice the stickers I had created.
They are my creation and my own works.
however small of a reaction to the stickers,
matters a lot to me.

Also, a few of my friends asked me for some of these stickers.
I am truly grateful and thankful for their appreciation of my works.

These little actions give me hope and encouragement to keep going on,
motivating me to keep my little business going.
And while my business gets bigger as time goes by,
I hope I will not forget to appreciate the small things still.

Land of the Rising Sun

I went to Hokkaido during February this year.
It was the furthest I've ever been away from Singapore,
The weather there was extremely cold, almost -15 degrees at some point.

Well, I have to say Japan is unlike any other country,
the people there are amazingly polite and kind,
It's like you can just walk pass a store at any street and not go in at all,
but the store owner will still come out and greet you.
That's just how polite they are.

There was one time during the trip, I went to a foot massage parlor,
when I had my massage, I left my glasses on my sit without realizing and I went back up
to the hotel. Only when I was in my room I realize that I left my glasses at the parlor, so
I rushed down and when I came out of the lift, to be amaze, the massage lady was standing
outside of the lift waiting for me to pass me my glasses.
That's shows just how polite and kind Japanese are.

I really miss Hokkaido a lot. The food, the people, the weather, the places and especially
the hot spring!
Hope I can visit Hokkaido again.

serenity;

Well, this is a photograph of me 'modelling' for my own little clothing brand,

There is so much serenity captured in this photo even-though it is in black and white.

It's our brand's first t-shirt collection,
so I wanted a look-book that will catch people's attention,
and here we are, taking pictures in the middle of no where, with our foot stuck in the mud
and rain pouring on our head.

Despite all the hardship,
I still love making my own t-shirts.
Feels kinda great wearing your a shirt of your own brand.

2010;

This was a class photo taken back in 2010,

That was when life was so simple & carefree,
When going to school was just to meet your friends and have fun.
We didn't have to worry about work submissions, projects or anything else.

Right now, life is so stressful and hectic,
We have projects and homework every single day.
We barely even have time for ourselves.

Life was so simple back then.
I miss those days so much,
How I wish I could re-live those days again.

( P.S try to spot me in the photo! )
